The HBS-62.5Z is a digital low load Brinell hardness tester with an automatic turret that switches between the indenter and the objective without manual handling, which speeds up repeated testing and improves consistency. The one piece cast aluminium body resists deformation and displacement, and six test forces from 1kgf to 62.5kgf with 1mm, 2.5mm and 5mm ball scales suit thin sheet, small parts and hardened surface layers. A 5.1 inch LCD with menu structure shows all steps and results, the weight loaded system automatically compensates the test force, and the D1 and D2 indentation diameters are entered by encoder to reduce reading errors. Test data can be printed directly, and an XY table or CCD measuring system is available as an option.
