The HBE-3000 is a digital electronic Brinell hardness testing machine with a closed loop sensor loading system that applies the test force reliably and compensates it automatically. Ten test force levels from 62.5kgf to 3000kgf and twelve Brinell HBW scales covering 2.5mm, 5mm and 10mm balls give a hardness range of 8-650HBW. The one piece cast body does not deform or displace, so accuracy and repeatability stay high even under heavy production use, and installation is simple because the electronics replace the traditional weight stack. It is used for cast iron, non-ferrous metals and alloys, annealed and quenched tempered steel, and softer metals such as pure aluminium, lead and tin.
