The HBS-62.5 is a digital low load Brinell hardness tester built on a one piece cast aluminium body that resists deformation and displacement. Six test forces from 1kgf to 62.5kgf with 1mm, 2.5mm and 5mm ball scales make it ideal for thin sheet, small parts and hardened surface layers that cannot take the 3000kgf load of a standard Brinell machine. A 5.1 inch LCD with menu structure displays every step and result, the weight loaded system automatically compensates the test force, and the D1 and D2 indentation diameters are entered by encoder to reduce reading errors. Results can be printed on the built-in printer, and an XY table or CCD measuring system can be added as an option.
