Product overview
The 500MRA is a motorized Rockwell hardness tester in which applying, holding and releasing the test force are completed automatically, eliminating manual operation errors. Hardness is read directly from the analog dial at 0.5HR resolution, and dwell time is adjustable from 2 to 60 seconds. The integrated cast iron structure is rigid and stable for repeatable results. It tests black and non-ferrous metals such as quenched, tempered and annealed steel, cold-hardened castings, malleable castings, aluminum alloy, copper and bearing steel, and conforms to GB/T230.2, ISO6508-2 and ASTM E18.
