The 401MVDS-Y is a digital micro Vickers hardness tester with a 5.1 inch LCD and menu-driven operation. Indentation diagonals D1 and D2 are entered directly through an encoder, and a built-in thermal printer outputs test reports on site. The minimum measuring unit is 0.03125 μm and the hand-wheel lifting stage keeps small specimens stable. It is widely used for hardened case depth, nitrided layers, thin plates and surface coatings. An optional CCD measurement system is available.
